Angie actually replied, “What’s a Joke?” They stared at each other in disbelief, then explained it simply to her. This was the first time in her life she had said a full-sentence question in context, and it displayed a level of comprehension which Babs and Nigel were told she would never have… Roll on October and America for more surprises!
