The Ratcliffes had a challenging week leading up to the Miracles Concert on the 9th June. The inevitable disruption in the household that organising a concert brings meant that Angie felt the challenge most of all and she had the first major regression for a long time.

Inability to sleep and bouts of anxiety have now calmed after Nigel and Babs put in extra hours in the Son-Rise Room. This helped the whole family find calm following a storm of activity and disrupted routines. The three additional Son-Rise volunteers have been particularly supportive throughout this time.
In the past few days, Angie has been getting distressed at bed time, apparently worrying about her progress in speech and communicating this in signing and single words. Nigel and Babs have been constantly reassuring her that she is doing well and has made good progress.
