Hello all,

As Angie continues to write more and more our excitement grows with it. Communication has been good this week, with loads of eye contact and vocalising outside of son rise sessions used by Angie to keep up with the goings on on the house and to play a small part in our conversations. Several new words during her play times despite Babs having to be absent this last week to do some agency work. Nigel , Ana,Brogan and Liam did a fab job of keeping it all going.

Angie is now keeping a magnetic writer in a handbag with her at all times, managing to use it wherever she is to talk to us. So, so amazing! She just manages a couple of letters on her own and needs a bit of support with hand control, but wow! Our former speech therapist visited last week and said that some children learn writing first, then talk, and that she’d seen it before, we were very encouraged by that.

We need help with raising funds, as Angie continues to progress we want to accelerate it and if possible begin to help other families to access the son- rise program.

Several events are coming up that you could support:

31st August sponsored walk from Brooklands park to Sea lane cafe. Sponsors or walkers needed. You can donate through the website or on Angie’s miracles Facebook page you can also download a sponsor form if you are feeling energetic!

Sponsored 3- pier challenge cycle ride, date tbc March 2014 6 brave cyclists will ride from Eastbourne pier, stopping at Brighton pier, culminating at Worthing pier. This is a particularly special event as we are raising money for parents for autism as well as Angie’s miracles!

There are other plans as well but will post when I know more.

Big love x
