Well, Angie surpassed herself last Sunday. We visited a friend’s church in Hampshire and she went to the Sunday School for the main part of the service.
Well, it has been a tough few weeks trying to run our programme the way we were advised back in America. Our second group meeting was very positive but we were starting to feel a bit overloaded being one person down, ill.
Well, we have been back home for a bit more than a week and the excitement at seeing how Angie grew before our eyes while we were away has not wavered. All four of us have been suffering jet-lag and the resulting tiredness.
We all did it! We have raised just about enough money before we leave on Saturday!!!!! We are all busy packing at the Ratcliffe house – Angie is very interested in what’s going into her case and flight bag and trying to “help” us!

Angie has enjoyed the first part of the school holidays. Here is a picture of her enjoying an afternoon at Petworth Park, a National Trust property near where Babs and Nigel live in West Sussex.
A rare treat – we all finally managed to all be in the same space at the same time, we hadn’t managed it for over two months! Our three volunteers, plus Angie, Nige, and me.
The Ratcliffes had a challenging week leading up to the Miracles Concert on the 9th June. The inevitable disruption in the household that organising a concert brings meant that Angie felt the challenge most of all and she had the first major regression for a long time.
Babs Ratcliffe… So weary from going to work, doing Son-Rise sessions, Fundraising, Housework…………. But today 2 hours with Angie: Just. So. Amazing.
Thank you to all who attending the concert last weekend. The event raised over £1000 towards the project, which is amazing.
